The heater fan has exploded. I'm going to have to fit a new fan.
Well, it finished up with me changing the whole Fan Unit. Trying to find just the fan bladed drum is like trying to find hen's teeth. As luck would have it, I had one on a shelf that I had bought a couple of years earlier. I gave it clean and a coat of black paint. Once dry, it was fitted and I have a working fan again. The old fan casing was rusted through but is repairable. However, I'm not going to repair it just yet. It can sit on my shelf till I have more time to fettle.
