Devils Bridge 2016

I had a brilliant weekend at Devil's Bridge and the green lanes nearby.
Really enjoyed this weekend away. 22nd to 25th September 2016

Big thanks go out to Paul Bohan and his helpers and organisers for putting the weekend together for the rest of us.
Also, Thanks goes out to Woodland Caravan Park at Devil's Bridge (SY23 3JW) for letting us all camp there over the weekend.

Also, I'm very please with my Landy. What a test run I had with the newly fitted 200TDi. I only MOT'ed it on Wed 14th, then went off to Ireland for a wedding. Come back to two free days to fettle with it, but didn't go far, except to the shops and go and get the caravan out of storage.
Then decided, it's Devil's Bridge or Bust and off I went with the caravan dragging behind.
170 miles getting there and averaged  25.76MPG
149 miles running around green laning and averaged 26.92MPG
178 miles back, which included taking my caravan back into storage and averaged 27.26MPG.
I didn't cane it so hard on the way home and resisted the temptation to floor it. I'm still getting used to having a lot more torque under foot and overtaking lorries up-hill with a caravan on at 60mph is still a novelty.

Now it's back to work and back to reality.

Here's a few photos.
